harold

WJPP here, spinning and oldie but a goodie. Harold the Barrel. Great song off a terrific album that I listened to over and over and over again when I was a youngster. Last night I got a little bit lost on YouTube after returning home from a very nice Easter visit with my family.

I started with Arvo Pärt and somehow ended up watching live Genesis videos from the Nursery Cryme era. I couldn't help smiling as I saw a young Peter Gabriel dance and move all over the place with his tambourine as they performed The Return of the Giant Hogweed. He was so pretty! I realized I hadn't ever really watched these guys. Back then, I just closed my eyes and listened. It wasn't like the MTV or YouTube years that followed the late 70s where you could actually see the singers -- unless you went to a concert. Even then, it wasn't likely you could see much at all.

So, posted here is a version with just the album cover to stare at. Just like the old days. (But for fun, click on the preceding links to see what I am referencing.) Enjoy.
